Description of Significance BUILT IN 1908, THE STOCK EXCHANGE BANK OF FARGO IS A SINGLE-STORY ROMANESQUE STYLE BANK. TYPICAL OF THIS STYLE OF BANK, THE ENTRANCE IS LOCATED ON A CANTED CORNER. THE BUILDING IS BRICK, WITH ELABORATE STONE QUOINING, KEYSTONES, AND ARCHES. BRICK IS USED TO ACCENT THE CORNICE. THE STOCK EXCHANGE BANK WAS THE FINANCIAL CENTER FOR THE TOWN OF FARGO UNTIL THE GREAT DEPRESSION, WHEN THE BANK OPERATIONS MOVED TO WOODWARD. LISTED IN NATIONAL REGISTER 10/7/83.
